Operation Inflation donates free inflatable costumes for community members to wear at protests to help deflate the tension and inflate the good vibes.

Operation Inflation started in October 2025 when a few friends in Portland realized that the guy in the inflatable frog suit was onto something important.

We rallied quickly to raise funds to purchase and deliver more inflatable costumes to the community.

We believe peaceful protesting is part of our first amendment right to freedom of speech and expression, and the inflatables help keep the community more safe and positive while exercising their rights.

All donations are used to purchase inflatable costumes to donate to the community, as well as supplies and small expenses to support these efforts.

Right now we are donating a lot of our own money, time and energy to this project.

No we are not funded by Soros!

Once we deliver the costumes, they go forth into the world to live their best life.

Some costumes get worn and donated back to the costume rack to be used another day by another person!

Others might be taken home to be used again in the future.

Anyone is free to come grab and use a costume, we don’t discriminate.

No, but maybe!

We bring costumes to the community regularly, so show up in person and grab a costume.

No reservations, no requests. We simply are supporting a community, so if you’re out in that community, you may see us there!

We hope to expand Operation Inflation to other cities in need very soon!
